Istanbul Psychiatry

The Psychiatric Department performs the necessary examinations, tests, and additional work regarding the causes of the mental problems patients experience and their treatment.

This department provides medicated and non-medicated treatments for the following diseases:

Anxiety disorders (panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, etc.)

Mood disorders,

Psychotic disorders (schizophrenia, paranoid disorder, etc.),

Eating disorders,

Sexual dysfunctions,

Sleep disorders,

Psychiatric diseases.

Besides medicated treatments, other established treatment methods such as Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), hypnosis, rTMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), cognitive behavioral therapy are also used in the department.
