Popular places to visit in Ardahan;
First day
After having breakfast with regional delicacies unique to Ardahan such as Feselli, Ardahan Flower Honey and Ardahan Kashar Cheese, start your Ardahan tour by going to Putka Lake, where many bird species are sheltered.
Afterwards, return to the center and see Ardahan Castle, built by Suleiman the Magnificent in the 16th century.
Do not forget to witness history by visiting Ardahan Merkez Mevlit Efendi Mosque, built in 1701, Hamşioğlu Rasim Bey Mansion and Dursun Soylu Mansion, built in the 19th century.
The second day
It is thought to be the oldest inscription in the region and is one of the Urartian Kings II. Depart for the village of Taşköprü to see the inscriptions said to belong to Sarduri.
In Çıldır Lake, which offers different views to its visitors in 4 seasons, the fish spend time alone with nature by taking landscape photos.
Visit Akçakale, the most important of the islets in Lake Çıldır, and see the Ruins of the Islands City, which is thought to have a history of 10,000 years.
After resting for a while in Kendibel village, located on the edge of Aktaş Lake, finish the day by spending time in Aktaş Lake, which is famous for its natural beauty and scenery.
