Atabey
Atabey is a district of Isparta province.
It is one of the district centers of Isparta province, which is one of the two major settlement centers of the lakes region, which is the inland part of the Antalya section covering the western half of the Mediterranean region, which includes the western and central Taurus Mountains along the Mediterranean coast in southern Turkey.
Atabey, which is 23 km away from the city center, is surrounded by Senirkent in the north, Eğirdir in the east, Gönen in the west, and the towns of Islamköy, Kuleönü and Büyükgökçeli, which are connected to the central district of Isparta in the south. Atabey has an area of 202 km².
The Sakarya Fırat series, which was broadcast on TRT 1, was filmed in this district. It is the hometown of 9th President Süleyman Demirel.
