Aziziye
Aziziye, formerly Ilıca, is a district of Erzurum province in Turkey. The center, that is, the neighborhoods located in the Erzurum Plain, are located in the Eastern Anatolia Region and the Ovacık (Toprakkale) part is located in the Black Sea Region.
It is one of the central districts of Erzurum province and forms the western part of the province. It is bordered by İspir District from the north, Palandöken (Central District) and Çat Districts from the south, Yakutiye (Central District) District from the east, Tortum District from the north-east, and Aşkale District from the north-west. Ilıca is on the E80 highway, which connects Erzurum to the west and is on the Silk Road route. The majority of the people of the district are from neighboring provinces, districts and villages.
