Bağcılar

Bağcılar is a district on the European Side of Istanbul. It is the 4th most populated district among the districts of Istanbul. It is a district rich in terms of transportation. The population of Bağcılar in 2022 was 740,069. In Bağcılar, 1/3 of the active population consists of people between the ages of 7 and 22. Although it is one of the districts with the highest schooling rate in the field of primary education, there is still a great inadequacy in schools due to the fact that there are many immigrant families who are not registered in the district population of 600,000 people. There are 118,250 students at primary and high school levels in Bağcılar, and there are 65 schools and 1509 classrooms where they study. Altınbaş University is located in Bağcılar. There is a public library in Mahmutbey district with a capacity of 3068 books. The active green area in the district, which was 0.35 km² per person in terms of parks and children's playgrounds, was increased to 2 km² per person as a result of investment programs. In Bağcılar, there are 2796 streets, 88 mosques and masjids, 12 high schools and equivalent schools, 101 primary schools, 17 private schools, 22 neighborhoods and their affiliated neighborhood mansions, 25 libraries, 1 training and research hospital, 41 family health centers, 1 There are metropolitan health centers, 7 private hospitals, 23 private clinical centers, 2 tuberculosis control centers, 1 mother-child health center, 1 health consultancy center and 4 municipal cultural centers.
