Balışeyh
Balışeyh, formerly Balışıh, is a district of Kırıkkale.
The district was named after Bal-ı Sheikh, the other name of Sheikh Edebali, a close friend of Oghuz Kayı Beyi Ertuğrul Gazi. The settlement date is between 1230 - 1258. The presence of a 13th century Seljuk mosque in the district confirms this date.
