Batman
Batman is home to Hallançemi Höyük, one of the first settlements in Anatolia and has been inhabited since 11,000 BC. It has hosted civilizations from the Neolithic period to the Ottoman period and even served as the capital.
Located in Mesopotamia, the cradle of civilizations, Batman is located in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, in the basin between the Tigris River and its tributaries Batman and Garzan Stream.
