Bayraklı
Bayraklı is a district of Izmir province in Turkey. The district is bordered by Karşıyaka to the northwest and north, Bornova to the east and south, Konak to the southwest and Izmir Bay to the west. It is the second smallest district of Izmir in terms of area. According to the Law No. 5747 on the Establishment of Districts within the Borders of Metropolitan Municipalities and Amendments to Certain Laws, Bayraklı became a district of Izmir on 6 March 2008, and the relevant law was published in the Official Gazette dated 22 March 2008 and numbered 26824.[2] The district, which is the new urban center of Izmir, has a large number of skyscrapers under construction, ongoing and under project.
