Beşiri
Beşiri is a district of Batman.
The district is located east of the central district of Batman in the central region of Batman province, which is a narrow and long line from north to south. Kurtalan district lies to the east, Hasankeyf district and Gercüş district to the south, and Kozluk district to the north.
The surface area of the district is approximately 889 km². The center of the district has an altitude of 680 m and is approximately 16 km from the city center. The district was established on a generally flat terrain. Winters in the region are rainy, harsh and cold, spring is short and summers are dry and quite hot. The only existing stream of the district is the "Garzan Stream" which crosses the district from north to south and then merges with the Tigris River.
