Bor
Bor is a district of Niğde province and the centre of this district. It is located on the Bor Plain (or plateau) at an altitude of 1100 metres, 14 km south of Niğde. It has 7 villages under the central sub-district and 16 villages under Kemerhisar sub-district. Its area is 1354 km² and population density is 39. Most of the territory of the district lies on the Obruk Plateau. Its east, north and southeast are mountainous. It is surrounded by Aladağlar to the east and Hasan and Melendiz Mountains to the north. Its main river is Küçüköz Stream. Bor Plain is the continuation of Ereğli Plain.
