Çamlıhemşin
The old name of "Vica" or "Vija" means "mineral water, hot spring, hot spring" in Laz. The old name of Çamlıhemşin is Vicealtı. The police station was established in 1922, before the declaration of the Republic. When Ardeşen became a district in 1953, Vicealtı was connected to this district under the name Çamlıca. The parish building was built in 1954. The municipality was established in 1955. With the law no. 7033, which came into force on June 27, 1957, it was named Çamlıhemşin and became a district. The establishment of the district was completed in the 1960s.
