Çarşıbaşı
The district is mentioned as İskafya in the records of 1522, as İskefiye Pazarı or Nefsi İskefye in the records of 1819 and 1876, and has had the same name since 1913. While it was previously a village in the center of İskefiye township, on March 6, 1954, it merged with the villages of Burunbaşı, Büyükdere, Salova and Zeytinlik, and became a municipality and became a town. Çarşıbaşı gained district status with the law published in the official gazette dated 20.05.1990 and numbered 20523.
