Eyyübiye
Eyyübiye is a district of Şanlıurfa province.
On November 12, 2012, it became a district as a result of the division of the central district of Şanlıurfa into three districts with the Law No. 6360 adopted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
With a population of 379,852, it is the second most populous district of Şanlıurfa. The district takes its name from the Islamic Prophet Eyyub. Here, the place where he is believed to have suffered during his illness has been turned into a mausoleum.
