Göcek
Göcek is a neighborhood in the Fethiye district of Muğla (province). The name Göcek District comes from the group called Göçek, which was located in the settlement area in the past. Göcek District is located in the west of Fethiye District and on the border with Dalaman District. There is Akdeniz in the west, Dalaman District in the north-west, Gökçeovacık District in the north and İnlice District in the east. It became a town by receiving municipality status on December 30, 1987. It became a neighborhood with the law no. 6360 adopted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly on 12 November 2012.
