Göksun
Göksun is a district located 76 km from Kahramanmaraş city center. Its total population is 52,136 and its area is 1920 km². In 1908, it was connected to Kahramanmaras province. The district municipality was established in 1908. There are 51 neighborhoods and 7 towns in the district. Old names of the district: Kokusus, Cocussus, Cocussus, Kokson, Koksen, Koksün, Göksün[citation needed]. Since it is in the forest region, there are sawmills. Dibek Mountain lies to the west and Binboğa Mountains to the north. The main agricultural products are wheat, sugar beet, beans, chickpeas, apples and grapes. Göksun apple is famous for its unique aroma.
