Hamamözü
Hamamözü is a district of Amasya province. The district has had the same name since 1914. While it was previously a sub-district center of Gümüşhacıköy district, it became a town by receiving municipality status on 20 August 1971. Hamamözü gained district status with the law published in the official gazette dated 20.05.1990 and numbered 20523. The district has a Black Sea climate. Hamamözü is 90 km away from Amasya city center and 43 km away from Çorum city center. Hamamözü is the least populated district of Amasya province, according to the 2021 census data.
