Hanönü
Hanönü is a district of Kastamonu province in the Black Sea Region of the Republic of Turkey.
Located in the Gökırmak valley, a tributary of the Kızılırmak River, Hanönü district is bordered by Taşköprü district to the west, where it was a municipality until December 30, 1988, and Boyabat district of Sinop province to the east.
