Hemşin
Hemşin, which is 57 km away from Rize and 18 km inland from the sea, is one of the old settlements of Rize. It neighbors Pazar in the north, Çayeli in the west, and Çamlıhemşin in the south. As of 1991, Hemşin became a district. Hemşin, one of the smallest districts of Rize, has a surface area of 120 km² and a population of 2,183. There are 4 neighborhoods and 8 villages in the district. It has historical mosques and many historical arch bridges built over the Hemşin Stream.
