Hopa
Hopa is a district and the center of the Artvin province in the Black Sea Region of Turkey. Hopa, one of the main port cities of Turkey with its Hopa Port, is approximately 20 kilometers away from the Sarp Border Gate on the Georgian border. Hopa district is surrounded by Kemalpaşa district in the northeast, Borçka district in the east, Murgul district in the southeast, Arhavi district in the southwest and the Black Sea in the northwest. The majority of Hopa's population consists of Laz, Hemşinli and Rize immigrants.
