Hüyük
Hüyük is a district of Konya province.
Hüyük District was founded in 1210 by Sheikh Idris and his brother Sheikh Bahri who migrated from Khorasan to Konya. The tombs of these figures are still located in the centre of the district. In addition, it is understood from various historical artefacts found in various places that the region has been inhabited since the chipped stone age.
