İhsangazi

İhsangazi is a district of Kastamonu Province in the Black Sea Region of the Republic of Turkey. The name of the settlement area known as Mergüze was changed to İhsangazi during the establishment of the municipal organization in 1968. The name of the settlement area formerly known as "İhsangazi Village" was also changed to "Yukarı Yeşil Mahalle". Although many years have passed since the name change, the name Mergüze is still widely used among the people today.
