İnhisar

Inhisar is a district of Bilecik province. Located in northwestern Turkey, the district borders Gölpazarı in the northwest, Yenipazar in the north, Sarıcakaya in the northeast, Mihalgazi in the east, Tepebaşı in the southeast (the northern part of the old Eskişehir center) and Söğüt in the southwest. The surface area of the district is 315 km². It is located in the Black Sea Region. Inhisar became a municipality on November 30, 1989 and turned into a town. With the law published in the Official Gazette dated 20.05.1990 and numbered 20523, it gained district status.
