İyidere

İyidere is a district of Rize province. Due to the conditions created by the geographical structure, it has a profile between a village and a town. General employment sources are agriculture, animal husbandry, fishing and tea farming. While women generally work in tea farming, men also work in tea factories, which number about 15 in each region. In addition, the district's location on the coast also allowed fishing. In terms of ethnicity, the population of İyidere consists primarily of families of Turkish and Laz origin.
