Kabadüz

Kabadüz is a district of Ordu province. 19 neighborhoods are connected to the district in the Eastern Black Sea region, established just east of the Melet River flowing through Ordu province. Kabadüz became a township in 1870. It became a town by receiving municipality status on 31 December 1987. It became a district in 1990. The district is located on a ridge at an altitude of 600 meters, 21 km south of Ordu. A significant part of its population consists of Khorasan Turkmens. The high plateaus of the district and the pastures and pastures in these plateaus contribute to the development of animal husbandry. Greenhouse farming, walnut, tea and kiwi cultivation are also developing in the district. With the declaration of Çambaşı plateau as a tourism center, plateau tourism is developing rapidly in the region.
