Karakoçan
Karakoçan is a district of Elazığ province. It became a district in 1936. As of today, the district has 1 town, 88 villages and 7 neighborhoods. The settlement, which is the only town of Karakoçan, is named Sarıcan. Sarıcan Town consists of two neighborhoods. Apart from this, there are two sub-districts named Çan and Başyurt. According to 2020 population results, the total population is 28,434, 14,625 of which are in the center.
