Karapürçek

Karapürçek is a district of Sakarya province. Karapürçek is the oldest district of Sakarya. Although the date of establishment is not known, it is accepted that it was one of the major settlements during the Byzantine period. 

In the earthquake that occurred in the region in 1967, the historical buildings from the Ottomans were destroyed and destroyed. In 1967-1968, new buildings were built in a planned and projected manner by the Ministry of Reconstruction and Settlement.
