Karasu

Karasu is a district of Sakarya province in the Marmara Region. It is surrounded by Kocaali district in the east, Hendek district in the south, Ferizli district in the southwest, Kaynarca district in the west and the Black Sea in the north.[1] Located in the north of Sakarya at the junction of the Marmara Region with the Western Black Sea, the territory of the district consists of slightly undulating lowlands. Behind the plains on the Black Sea coast, there are areas rising with gentle slopes and undulating plains to the south of these areas. However, the current has been partially prevented by building breakwaters on some of the coastal sections within a few years.
