Kocaali

Kocaali is the district of Sakarya province, the westernmost settlement on the coast of the Black Sea Region.

The main sources of livelihood are hazelnut agriculture, animal husbandry and tourism.

There is a 14 km long and 500 meters wide sand beach. Maden Creek, which starts from the south of the district, flows into the Black Sea in the north. The climate shows typical Black Sea climate characteristics. The areas with historical features are as follows; Mining quarries from the Ottoman period in Maden Creek, monastery in Şerbetpınarı, Gümüşoluk (in history: Belazâr-Bolazar) village. In addition, the settlement on the coast of the district is two and a half storeys and garden layout with the decision taken by the district municipality. It is two hours from Istanbul and three hours from Ankara, and the municipality provides incentives for industrialists.
