Citrus fruits, cotton, corn in the district center and plain villages; A significant amount of olives, chestnuts and figs are produced in villages with high land structures. In addition, products such as watermelon, strawberry, plum, peach and wheat are also grown, in order of importance. The largest chestnut market in the region is established in Köşk district. A significant portion of the 10,000 tons of chestnuts per year are marketed as selected and packaged. Animal husbandry is done as a second job alongside agriculture. Köşk, which became a township in 1878, was managed as a village between 1932 and 1958 due to population decrease, but became a township again in 1958. The mansion took its name from the earthquake that occurred in 1653. The people gave it the name "Göçük" based on this, and later it turned into the name "Köşk" due to its similarity to "Göçük". The Mediterranean climate is seen in Köşk district and its surroundings. Summers are hot, dry and winters are warm and rainy. As the mountains extend in the east-west direction, the sea influence penetrates into the interior. Snowfall is rare in the higher elevations.
