Lapseki
Lapseki is a district on the Anatolian side of Çanakkale province.
There are regular ferry services between it and Gelibolu. It is believed to be named after Lampsakos, the daughter of a philosopher who settled in this region during the Ancient Greek period.
Lapseki is famous for its cherries and Lapseki Cherry Festival is organized every year. There is a sports club called Lapsekispor.
