Marmaraereğlisi
Marmaraereğlisi is a district of Tekirdağ province. It is 35 km. to Silivri, 90 km. to Istanbul and 38 km. to Tekirdağ. There is a total of 32 km. long coastline, 11 km. to the province of Istanbul, and a sandy coastal structure in the form of a beach, and partially there are coastal elevations in the form of yards. The land of the district, which has a surface area of 182 square kilometers, generally consists of lands suitable for agriculture. In the city center, 3 piers and port facilities are sufficient for cargo ships. In the port facilities built with the Build-Operate-Transfer model, various medium and larger sized cargo ships can dock and load-unload.
