First day

In Mersin, you can start the day with a magnificent breakfast at the marina accompanied by the sea and boats and continue with a city tour. A very colorful museum tour awaits you in the city center of Mersin. Mersin Archeology Museum draws attention with handmade historical artifacts from different ancient cities. In addition, Atatürk House and Museum, Mustafa Erim City History Museum, Mersin Naval Museum are among other important museums that will allow you to explore the city and the region.

Yumuktepe and Soli Ancient City are among the oldest settlements in the world. While bringing Mersin's rich historical and cultural past to the present, it also takes history lovers on a mysterious journey in ancient times.

For lunch, you can taste the tantuni special to the Mersin region and drink turnip juice in the city center. Cezerye or kerbic, one of the local desserts after lunch, can go very well with a cup of Turkish coffee.

In the afternoon, you will set off for Tarsus, Mersin's favorite district for faith, archeology and cultural tourism. Tarsus Museum, St. Paul Memorial Museum and Well, Cleopatra Gate, Ancient Roman Road, Eshab-ı Kehf Cave (Seven Sleepers Cave), Göztepe, Roman Bath, Daniel Prophet Tomb and Gülek Castle are important touristic places worth seeing in Tarsus. You can feel the historical and nostalgic texture of the region while walking around the streets where the historical Tarsus houses are located. Kırkkaşık Bedesten is a wonderful bazaar where you can take a break and buy local products and souvenirs. Here, you can relieve the tiredness of the day by tasting the local sherbet called boiled special.

To discover the natural beauties, you head towards Çamlıyayla with its wonderful nature surrounded by pine trees, cool air, astonishingly beautiful lake and waterfall. Çamlıyayla is a beautiful place where you want to explore the natural beauties of the region, cool off, taste snowballs and even spend a night in wooden highland houses.

The second day

You can start the day with a local breakfast near the Heaven and Hell Sink in Silifke. In the restaurants, you can taste different local delicacies such as squeezing (bazama / pancake) and various citrus jams. After breakfast, the first stop is Heaven and Hell Pits, and then Astim Cave.

In the afternoon, you may want to swim in the sea to enjoy the sun and cool off a bit. Narlıkuyu is waiting for you to cool off in the clear and deep blue waters of the Mediterranean. The underground river, whose sound can be heard from the bottom of the Cennet Pit, meets the Mediterranean here, you can relax in the turquoise sea of Narlıkuyu, and taste grilled fish and special appetizers at the restaurants around the bay. After lunch, the first stop will be the Narlıkuyu Mosaic Museum, which impresses with its mosaics.

When you continue to Silifke, you will be able to visit Adamkayalar, Roman Temple, Aya Tekla Monastery and Uzuncaburç. History buffs will not be indifferent to Silifke Museum and Ethnography Museum.

If you want to enjoy the magnificent sea and beach, you will find many options in Silifke. Silifke's Tisan Bay, chosen as one of the most beautiful bays in the world, is a natural wonder known as the hidden paradise of the Mediterranean, where blue and green meet. Boğsak Bay, which has a blue flag, is also located in Silifke.

Your choice of restaurant for dinner may be one that serves blue crab or lobster. Do not leave Mersin without tasting the blue crab, which is one of the most special seafood products of not only Mersin but also Turkey.
