Pursaklar
Pursaklar is one of the oldest villages located between Ankara and Çubuk. The oldest historical document in which the name Pursaklar is mentioned is in the land registry book prepared by the Ottoman Empire in 1530, and the settlement is listed as "Busaklar". It was published in 2 volumes in 1993 by the Presidency of State Archives under the name of accounting-i Vilayet-i Anatolian notebook numbered 438. There are two Busaklar (Pursaklar) records in this published book. One of them is referred to as a village and it seems that it was connected to Çubuk district at that time. The fact that the name Busaklar is recorded in two places in the book is due to the fact that half of the village is reserved as timar and the other half as foundation land. It is known that Busaklar is geographically located in a place called "Eskiköy" today. In 1966, Pursaklar was moved to its current location, called Çoraklık, which was built in a planned manner with the help of the state, due to a landslide that occurred in the Eskiköy neighborhood. Since the beginning of 1970, the population of Pursaklar has increased rapidly with citizens coming from surrounding provinces and districts, and on December 16, 1986, it gained the municipality organization and received the title of "town municipality". With the municipalities law enacted in 2008, it was separated from Keçiören, to which it was currently affiliated, and gained district status with the neighborhoods it acquired from Altındağ and Çubuk.
