Senirkent
Senirkent is a district of Isparta province. It is located at the foot of the mountain known as Kocadağ or Kapıdağı. In 1880 it became a town and in 1952 it became a district.
Its towns are Büyükkabaca, Uluğbey (İlegöp), Yassıören, villages; Garip, Ortayazı (Güreme), Başköy (Bisse), Gençali and Akkeçili.
It is neighboring Lake Eğirdir. Its climate is continental. Although it is connected to the Mediterranean Region, the Central Anatolian climate prevails due to the Taurus Mountains extending transversely to the coast.
