Seydiler

Seydiler is a district of Kastamonu province located in the Black Sea Region of the Republic of Turkey.

Seydiler is a settlement dating back to ancient times on the Inebolu-Kastamonu highway. During the War of Independence, when those who held weapons in their hands were at the front, it was useful in the transportation of weapons and ammunition taken to Inebolu to Ankara via Kastamonu.

Seydiler, which was connected to Inebolu district before the Republic, was connected to Küre in 1926 with the formation of Küre district in 1926, and was connected to Devrekani, which became a district with the law dated August 4, 1944 and numbered 4642, and was administered in parish status for a long time. In 1967, Seydiler, which was established as a municipality, became a district with the law dated May 20, 1990 and numbered 3644, and became the 19th district of Kastamonu province on May 8, 1991, when the district governor actually took office.
