Yayladere
Yayladere is a district of Bingöl province.
Yayladere; In 2100 BC, Komuks and Hurris remained under the rule of the Hittites, Urartians, Persians and Romans. After the 1071 Battle of Malazgirt, the Seljuk dynasty, between 1080-1201 under the rule of Saltuk sons, until 1473 under the rule of Uzun Hasan, after the 1514 Battle of Çaldıran, the district lands joined the Ottoman Empire.
Its former name Holhol was changed to Yayladere in 1959. Together with Adaklı district, it was granted district status with the same law in 1987. The surface area of the district is 419 km². This is 5.16% of the province's surface area. Its distance from the city center is 110 km. Its height above sea level is 1550 meters.
There is no municipality outside the district center. The district has 20 villages and 80 hamlets. The number of neighborhood mukhtar offices within the municipality boundaries is 6. According to the 1997 General Population Survey, the total population of the district is 3 274. Of this population, 88.52 percent live in the district center and 11.48 percent in rural areas. There are 8 people per km².
