Yeşilyurt
Yesilyurt is a district of Tokat province. The name of the district is mentioned as Musa or Musacık in the records of 1522 and 1907, and as Arabacımusa in the records of 1925. While it was previously a village of Sulusaray, which was then a sub-district center of Artova district, it became a town by receiving municipality status on 20 August 1971. The settlement was named "Yeşilyurt" on July 27, 1983. Yeşilyurt gained district status with the law published in the official gazette dated 04.07.1987 and numbered 19507.
